Revolution Summer

Conceived in the midst of catastrophic confusions born of the Iraq War, this film portrays the lives of 3 young adults and their responses to a contemporary world climate of crisis, when hope is under siege. Mackenzie Firgens portrays Hope, a young woman in San Francisco, gifted with vague idealism and an abundance of common sense, but no real direction. Her best friend Francine (Lauren Fox) is her opposite, dismissing any discussion of purpose, and instead living for the temporary highs of sex and drugs.
