I honestly wonder if the writers even read their own scripts. If they do, they must have memory issues because they seem to forget what they have written. For several seasons now, it’s been established that resources are dwindling, which makes sense. So how can such a large group, like the one from the junkyard, survive in an area already scoured by Negan, the Alexandrians, the Hilltop people, and the Kingdom? Plus, I’ve never seen anyone encounter a single member of this junkyard community before. And Rick’s arena fight? Why? It reminded me of Gwen DeMarco from Galaxy Quest desperately asking why there are crushers on the spaceship. That's just the way it is.
