In 19th century England, 17-year-old Lydia Carlton ekes out a living as a fairy doctor. She is one of the rare humans who can see and communicate with fairies, although almost no one believes her in this day and age. But Lydia s quiet country life is turned upside down when Edgar J. C. Ashenbert, who claims to be royalty, hires her for her fairy expertise. englanti What I really, really liked about this anime was the first few moments of the opening theme – until the singing started; after that it falls into the normal opening theme routine :-) The story is hokey, unfortunately not the right way, which detracts from it. Plus, there's the typical female lead who says no, no, no!!! but means yeah, yeah, yeah!!!, then there's the typical male lead who says whatever comes to his mind + is "really" beautiful i.e. ultimately boring because his every move can be predicted with almost 100% accuracy. Plus the story ends, doesn't end, so it kinda promises another season. But what I liked: the water elf, the "horse" ;-) and the cat gentleman. Other than that, all mediocre, below average. Recap: a weaker 3 stars. ()
