englanti I remember a friend (hi there, Mojmír if you're reading this), telling me that the only thing that disappointed him about Live in Texas was the less-than-enthusiastic audience. I think it's safe to say that this, Linkin Park's only deficiency, has been more than definitively erased. The huge mass of human flesh from England totally in sync with the band and devouring every note of their compositions is captivating, even if you watch the concert at home on a computer or TV. The interpretation of songs on Road To Revolution is, as is customary with Linkin Park, first-rate, with special touches (like the moth on Mike's hand during 'Pushing Me Away') and brand new intros and outros which will please everyone, not just hardcore fans. Interestingly, I don't know about you, but for me I'm certain that very few songs sound the same as past versions. Those who watch their concerts regularly will surely notice frequent variations, whether to the lyrics or in the interpretation of the songs. Try to show me other live versions of ‘Crawling’, 'One Step Closer', or ‘Numb’ that were performed as well as they were on RTR- they would be hard to find. Moreover, I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say (well, write), that Road To Revolution is one of their most atmospheric performances, and for Linkin Park, that's really saying something. What annoyed me a little was the lackluster camerawork compared with the excellent cinematography in Live in Texas (I know I keep on comparing, but believe me, this cannot be ignored) the concert from Milton Keynes is a few notches down. I was also disappointed by the "bonuses" in the form of "bonus-cut" songs culled directly from the concert, and the absence of any behind-the-scenes material. I realize that’s probably what the DVD of Minutes To Midnight was for, but at least they could have skipped the bonus section so I wouldn't always have to wait for the credits to finish to hear my favorite song ‘Papercut'. And one more thing that is just a suggestion you may or may not agree with, but what would you say if Linkin Park arranged a NO SINGLES tour sometime, where they would play songs that few have heard live or old songs like Carousel or Part of Me... 8/10 ()
