englanti One of the best action movies of the 90s, and probably the most captivating opening credits I've ever seen. Fantastic actors, possibly the best villain of all the installments, excellent action, great music, one of the most romantic scenes I know, and Richard Donner keeps delivering more and more excitement to the viewer throughout the entire 118 minutes. The first two installments were excellent, but they lacked heart or a significant female element. I'm referring to the outstanding Rene Russo, whose arrival revived this great franchise. The script is relatively simple, but in this case, it's not so essential, there’s plenty of action and there’s plenty of hunour. ()

englanti Sure, it lacks the dark cynicism and balance of the previous episodes, and Joe Pesci will seem like completely redundant to some, but I just adore this series and its characters. I love how the relationships between them keep developing and transcending from film to film, and I adore the banter of the central duo, which is taken to the pinnacle of imaginable "buddy" fun right here (and, of course, in The Last Boy Scout, which still has a flagpole at the top and no one will ever climb higher). The ferocious barrage of funny dialogue never stops, Rene Russo fits in perfectly and takes Riggs just a little bit further, the detective storyline intersects with the personal one casually and seamlessly, and when the film wants to go dark temporarily in the style of its predecessors, it works (and gives the great Glover his due). And even Pesci is very funny again... I love it. ()

englanti It is incredible how balanced the individual parts of the series are. Once again, there is something to address, there are topics that can develop the events around the individual characters, and thanks to them, the third film is no less interesting. The Gibson and Glover duo is complemented by Pesci in terms of witty lines, and Russo in terms of an interesting story and character development. They function together brilliantly. ()
