The first episode of the second season successfully picked up right where the first season ended. Although everything revolves around Leonard's budding relationship with Penny, what amused me the most was Sheldon's internal struggle to keep a secret and all the situations that arose from it. Leslie Winkle is back to comfort grieving Leonard and to be a thorn in ... for Sheldon. I had a great time again with Super Mario, with Rajesh's experiences from Comic Con: "And he told me her name is Kimberly!" and with Leslie's observed interactions. (27.12.2017)

The third episode of the second series is among my favorite episodes because here I not only survive, but I truly live in the World of Warcraft. Yes, everyone could probably identify with Penny this time, anyone who has ever fallen into addiction to games, even if only for a short time. In my case, it was my first PS1 and a five-day gaming marathon, from which I recovered only due to the absolute lack of dishes and the increasing smell of decay spreading from the overflowing sink. The fourth episode clearly belonged to Rajesh, who in a short moment transforms from a shy scientist into an unbearable, self-centered snob soaked in arrogance. Sheldon's ability to offend or deter everyone he needs help from knows no bounds. The result was an effort to convince him of the necessity of obtaining a driver's license and driving independently. It was already a superhuman feat in itself, but as if that wasn't enough, Darth Vader was staring weirdly. "Why is Penny giving me a ride?" "Because rock beats scissors." (28.12.2017)

The sixth episode introduced Dr. Sheldon Cooper in a completely new role. No, it wasn't accurate, Sheldon was typical, only his company was very unconventional, but what wouldn't a person do for free food, right? Penny's reaction to the whole situation was perfect, and Leonard's sentence left me stunned: "We built the audience here!". (28.12.2017)

In the seventh episode, there are essentially two separate storylines functioning independently. The first one portrays an initially inconspicuous, gradually intensifying battle between Sheldon and Penny, with both sides resorting to strong measures and even Junior Rodeo nearly happening. The second one follows Howard and Raj's efforts to obtain the future Mrs. Wolowitz's address using science and technology (including military). It was a very successful episode, I laughed from the beginning to the end. "Wait a moment. Are you trying to tell me that I am now within driving distance of a house full of potential future supermodels?" (29.12.2017)

Thanks to this episode, I understood that there has to be a Mars Rover accident for Leonard to find a partner. It certainly helped that he was the better of the two options. Howard's messages on the answering machine were absolutely perfect. "It's Howard." The debate between Sheldon and Rajesh also had some real fireworks. "I have just two words for that: Khan's wrath!" Episode featuring Sheldon as the supervisor of Leonard's new relationship simply cannot be bad. Sheldon's conversations with Penny were hilariously non-perspective ("New topic. Which phase of your menstrual cycle are you in now?") and even Leonard is not as desperate dependent on Stephanie as he is. (29.12.2017)

Leonard was the only one who didn't notice that he has a new roommate, and whenever he tries to do something about it, he becomes a victim of cunning manipulation, which he would surely defend against, but he is so weak... Sheldon encountered a person for the first time who managed to control him. "Where is my Bat signal?" (29.12.2017)

Originally, I wanted to deduct one star from the eleventh episode for the completely inexplicable disappearance of Dr. Stephanie, but I didn't have a chance. The episode was packed with quotes, and the exchange of gifts was absolutely perfect. "What are you all staring at? Haven't you seen impostors before?" "Gold, gold, now Dave is speaking." "I own Leonard Nimoy's DNA?!" (29.12.2017)

And again, an episode consisting of two separate storylines and it turned out well again. Sheldon allows himself to be provoked into an unlicensed robot fight (woboto vs. woboto, as Barry Kripke would say), while Howard experiences an emotional breakdown after a confrontation with Penny. "She slipped away. Was I supposed to fold her?" "Howard, I was told you have feelings." (29.12.2017)

Sheldon is trying to figure out friendship, which is a guarantee of quality entertainment. His questionnaires and algorithm have once again taken everything to absurdity. The arrival of Barry Kripke into the group and the subsequent selection of the least useful member were absolutely brutal. "Well, it's not exactly a plan, but I might faint." (30.12.2017)

The fourteenth episode is among the successful ones. The main roles this time are Penny's financial inability, Sheldon's willingness to help selflessly, and a can protected by snakes. I liked Leonard's effort to help Penny, which leads him on a heroic adventure after his failure in the area of reducing expenses. "What was the plan?" "To be a waitress for six months and then become a movie star." "Ah, and did you have a plan B?" "To become a television star." (30.12.2017)

I cannot describe the episode any other way than brutally good. Leonard's mother has been the only character so far who managed to overshadow Sheldon, and now I already wish she would appear more often in the show. "Your uncle Floyd passed away." When I realize that the sixteenth episode was a story about the couch, I can only rate it with a full number of stars. Some of Sheldon's obsessions came to light again, but the most surprising progress was undoubtedly made by Howard. "Is that what he calls his right hand?" (30.12.2017)

Sheldon's obsession with trains is worth an eleven-hour journey to the conference in San Francisco. Fortunately, Rajesh and Howard are able to shorten the trip with their Terminator hunting, while Sheldon, Leonard, and Penny occupy themselves with solving puzzles. I still enjoy the show tremendously, so once again I rate it with subtle five stars. "Look, now it's boring on an international scale!" "With all due respect, Dr. Cooper, are you on crack?" Penny asks Sheldon for help, even though she vaguely realizes that she is getting into a similar situation as if she made a deal with the devil or an agreement with a vampire. The great fun, Sheldon's songs to increase work productivity, and motivational speeches to employees were flawless. "Everything is better with Bluetooth!" "Hey! Less talking, more work!" With the arrival of the new neighbor, spheres of influence are changing and Penny is losing control of the situation. This episode was very educational and nicely portrayed situations in which the male body is controlled by the brain, but also situations in which it is controlled from elsewhere, and it showed how to take advantage of it. The twentieth episode was plot-wise slightly weaker, but Penny's arrival at the comic book store was absolutely amazing. On the other hand, I wasn't really into the hunting without weapons with Howard Wolowitz, who at least improved Rajesh in the end. "Everyone is staring at me!"
