While Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali continues to be a letdown for me, Dungeons & Dragons always delivers, even with the game's progress interrupted by three Vegas girls this time. Fortunately, Howard took on the role of the Dungeon Master, and I was just as thrilled as Sheldon. Despite the writers' attempts to undermine Howard, they were unsuccessful. The finale of the sixth season left me feeling a bit let down. Instead of the expected humor, it served up yet another portion of relationship drama. While I wouldn't mind the relationship issues as much if they were laugh-worthy, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Just when it looked like some fun was on the horizon, the tone shifted to unnecessary emotional moments, bringing me right back to where the episode started. I've only rated six out of the twenty-four episodes with a four or five, which is a massive drop compared to previous seasons. Blame it on the fact that the creators ditched most of what I liked about the show in Season 7 in favor of making another relationship sitcom. Plus, they started dramatically changing the characters’ personalities, so Sheldon helps the sick (!!!), Raj has sex without Howard present (!!!), and so on. I wasn't exactly thrilled about the start of the seventh season. It's not that the first episode was dull; the scenes featuring Leonard and the banter between Sheldon and Penny brought some laughs. As the sixth season finale approaches, the show has transformed into an emotional relationship drama. Unfortunately, it's an ongoing trend. Things aren't just stagnating; they're taking a turn for the worse. The fourth episode only solidified my impression of the dwindling creative spark. I used to rely on this series for good laughs, but now I consider myself lucky if I manage to crack a smile during the twenty-minute episode. The creators have brought me to a point where I'm thankful for any small reason to laugh. It's like I'm a drowning person who grabs onto even the tiniest straw. Yeah, even the sixth episode gave off the vibe that Raj contributed to the script, but Sheldon came to the rescue with his discovery. The mystery lies in Bob Newhart's brilliant portrayal of Arthur Jeffries, filling the entire episode with deadpan lines that had me laughing out loud. The creators have returned to the muddy waters of mediocrity. Even though I really enjoyed the plot that returned to Sheldon's groundbreaking discovery, the rest of the story didn't really appeal to me. It's probably mainly because Raj is starting to annoy me, as his storyline seems to be permanently stuck in a loop. / Lesson learned: Feeling bad? I recommend train therapy. (05.08.2022)

The eleventh episode mostly took place in a different time-space and left me with mixed feelings. Some ideas seemed quite funny to me, while others didn't interest me at all, and it could have turned out even worse with my rating for this episode if Sheldon hadn't saved the situation as a birth assistant/uterus custodian for his sister. / Lesson learned: When a good friend tells you that you should look the other way in your own interest, you might want to trust them on that one. The Big Bang Theory held a special place among my favorite TV shows for a while, even if it didn't quite make it into my Top Ten. However, that was based on only having watched the first six seasons. Now, as I'm diving into the seventh season, I find myself feeling like a little boy whose prized toy got snatched at the playground. The twelfth episode was really poor, except for Bernadette's fake laughter and Sheldon's research. / Lesson learned: Hope dies last, but it's a very painful death. 2*- (05.08.2022)

The thirteenth episode wasn't exactly fantastic, but I can at least give it a slightly above-average rating, mainly thanks to Sheldon's take on man's best friend and the monumental Bert. Episode fourteen truly brightened my day. Admittedly, the tea party slightly dampened the overall vibe, but given the rest of the episode, I still stand by my five-star rating. The attempt to go to Comic-Con was already hilarious, but it was completely outshone by James Earl Jones' acting performance which had me in stitches. / Lesson learned: Craving an experience? While there are sitcoms like Modern Family that get me excited for their Valentine's Day episodes, The Big Bang Theory has me feeling quite apprehensive about them, and for good reason. It's been a while since the show started, originally taking a different direction. As the number of female characters increased to three, it was still tolerable. However, come the seventh season, the creators took a turn that I'm not a fan of. / Lesson learned: Buy yourself a pocket watch. (06.08.2022)

Sure, Sheldon's quirks brought some entertainment, and Mike Rostenkowski managed to spread joy in his brief appearances.
