Set 15 years after the last Power Rangers series, POWER RANGERS S.P.D. ("Space Patrol Delta") features an all new cast of characters. The evil alien Emperor Grumm, along with his army of cybernetic soldiers, heads for Earth with conquest on his mind. Only the Power Rangers, an elite group of cosmic warriors, can stop him. The problem is, there are only a few Rangers who are ready for the task, while the others are still in the stages of training at the Ranger Academy. With Grumm's machinations already in effect, the established Power Rangers will have their hands more than full, while the rookies will themselves be severely tested by the alien's plot. englanti The youngest children have Teletubbies, while slightly older kids or those who are completely grown-up have Power Rangers S.P.D. I came across the series accidentally on YouTube and I couldn't believe it. I could just say "Oh for Christ's sake!" and get on with life, but the conservative in me cannot resist commenting that it is disturbing to live in a world where Power Rangers actually have viewers and it obviously paid off for the producers to film the series. This then brings to mind Huxley's novel "Brave New World"... There are worthy wastes of time, those stumbling blocks along the way that the creator can get up from and move on, but I don't think anyone can climb out of this pit. Overall impression: 0 triple underscore. ()
