András, having failed at his maturity examination, arrives in Budapest to be prepared for the second examination by his aunt, a math teacher. András would like to become an actor and hopes to visit Hollywood some day. His cousins and their friends are making films and Sanyi, the wheel-chair-ridden cameraman records everything he gets close to. Bélus has been caught by the police, thus András can play the main character in the film. In the meantime, Zita spares no time or effort in trying to teach him mathematics and András successfully passes his second examination. András returns to Budapest because of the shooting of the film. Zita initiates him into manhood. The next day András is run over by a car after the shooting of the closing scene.
