In this short film that preceded Sling Blade, Billy Bob showcases his skills, which are certainly at a high level. However, unfortunately, the film as a whole is just a test of how things will work and how it will look in black and white. For the feature film, color was ultimately chosen along with a significantly more extensive storyline.
