Kåre is a football fanatic who dreams of playing for Manchester United, but has ended up as a warehouse forkliftdriver at the local skipyard. His childhood sweetheart Anna has had about enough of his lack of initiative. When Kåre's old rival Stian shows up as a big shot and saviour for the misguided shipyard, that spells trouble for Kåre both professionally and privately.
