Cause of Death

A deputy-district attorney (Patrick Bergin), assigned to investigate the murder of the mayor's cousin, finds himself falling for the victim's wife (Joan Severance) who is immediately being accused of the killing. The attorney, however is not too quick to point the finger at the new widow, especially since he's already made the mistake of jailing an innocent woman in the past.
