Danger Dogs

At a secluded location, hidden in the Welsh hills of Britain is one of the world's top dog training academies. But this is not a preparation ground for a dog show. Here, unwanted dogs are given a chance to start a new life, through a training programme that prepares them for protecting society from drugs and explosives. Head trainer Simon Mallin has served with dogs all over the world and now runs tough courses designed to bring participants up to the highest international standards. He teaches everything from drug detection to finding roadside bombs in conflict zones. This series follows the highs and lows as potential handlers see if they've got what it takes to work with their dogs and if their trainee canines will complete the course. (Viasat)
