Super Fly is a cocaine dealer who begins to realize that his life will soon end with either prison or his death. He decides to build an escape from the life by making his biggest deal yet, converting the coke to cash and running off to start a new life. I can't help it, but I just didn’t enjoy this. It tries to look pretty cool, which it manages to do in some moments, and it has excellent music, but for me, that's where all the interesting stuff in this movie ends. The story isn't great and the performances didn't impress me much either. Every now and then, the editing still manages to surprise.
