A ship is attacked and its crew butchered by the half-dead Beast of Blood, causing the wretched creature to wash ashore and victimize an island ruled by the insane Dr. Lorca. Dr. Lorca has a penchant for attaching heads to lifeless bodies, and proceeds to make life very difficult for our heroes, played by John Ashley and Celeste Yarnall. The couple enter the Valley of Doom and encounter numerous creatures that Lorca has disposed of, causing blood and gore a-plenty in this entertaining 70s schlock horror. (jakelijan virallinen teksti)

The American-Philippine production Beast of Blood is a true connoisseur's movie. It is a B-movie with nothing more to offer than being a bad movie, although it is definitely watchable even today. Some scenes are unintentionally funny, and although the movie has aged quite a bit, it did not put me off, and I found it a perfectly acceptable way to pass the time. This movie is definitely OK to watch once.
