Anthony’s Broken Mirror

A lonely magician becomes the victim of his own illusions when he yearns for a mannequin in a shop window that is transformed into a young woman. The tragic ending shows the dangers arising from coveting an object of desire and the treacherous nature of the human psyche, which Makavejev had previously studied as an academic discipline. The soundtrack has been lost and in 2011 was replaced by a composition by Serbian composer Zoran Simjanović. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
