Chris Parker (Elisabeth Shue) agrees to babysit after her "dream" date stands her up. Expecting a dull evening, Chris settles down with three kids for a night of TV ... and boredom. But when her frantic friend Brenda calls and pleads to be rescued from the bus station in downtown Chicago, the evening soon explodes into an endless whirl of hair-raising adventures! It's nice, but I can't help it, I actually preferred the newer version from Disney, even though I enjoy the 80s atmosphere and the filming style. It's sometimes a bit dark, but it always swings back to a positive atmosphere. So I was most surprised by how Vincent D'Onofrio looked, he was thin and toned. The actors were too old for their roles.
