Count Me Out

Hrefna (9) lives alone with her mother. She has never met her father and she has been told that he lives abroad. On her tenth birthday, Hrefna discovers that her father is actually living in a suburb nearby, married to a young woman. Hrefna and her girlfriend decide to pay a visit. On the doorstep they lose their nerve when a man - her father - opens the door with a baby in his arms. The girls decide to go again and secretly observe the house and the family. They take an instannt dislike to Pálína, the father's bad-tempered and constantly nagging wife, and together they work out a plan to save the father from this terrible woman.
