Ramona at Midlife

Everyone wants to know why former literary “it-girl” Ramona (in a charmingly witty performance by Yvonne Woods) disappeared from the scene and stopped writing. But now that a hip movie director wants to make a film about her has-been life, Ramona can no longer hide in the suburbs, writing open letters to her idol, musician/poet Patti Smith. In a society where women are often forced to choose between their careers and motherhood, single-mom Ramona finds herself straddled between two worlds in this humorous, endearing, and totally relatable spin on the classic story of a midlife in crisis. Supporting performances from Rosemarie Dewitt, Catherine Curtin, Alysia Reiner and Josh Radnor round out this refreshing dramatic comedy about finding your voice as both a creative person and as a parent.
