The Rays of a Storm

Several men dressed as Aztecs, who are engaged in spiritual cleansings in the centre of Mexico City, decide to re-enact the battle of the Tree of the Sad Night. But no one wants to represent Hernán Cortés, on that night when he wept for his dead friends. Finally, the only ones who accept are the boys who strike fear from their motorbikes in the city’s streets. Knowing that they are going to die, the boys decide to do it in style and unwittingly their wounds become little tributes to Asian B movies. (Gijón International Film Festival)
