Unexpected

Bob and Amy are in love – but “this trying to have a kid thing” is putting a damper on Bob’s mood and straining Amy’s faith. When a move to a country house doesn’t help the situation, Amy pours her maternal instincts into rescuing animals, and Bob…well, Bob tries therapy. When their handyman’s son Gerard gets his girlfriend Shirlee pregnant, it seems like everyone’s problems will be solved – Amy and Bob will adopt and all will be right with the world. However a chance meeting between Shirlee and a young man at a gas station throws a wrench in the works, and Bob and Amy are back to square one – maybe back even further… (Nashville Film Festival)
