Janne, a 24-year old young man tries to flee his small hometown that no one ever leaves. His school application to the city gets denied. That makes him really distressed, but other inhabitants of the town are glad. Rumors spread like wildfire and Janne has to face a lot of congratulations and hugs. His girlfriend even starts to organize a wedding for them against his wishes. Janne has to get away no matter what it takes. He has no money so he decides to rob a small local burger joint. From there begins a long chase all the way to the town border. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)
