When in October 1981 the corpse of a woman strangled with stockings is found near the Motol stream, the Prague murder investigation team, led by the legendary Jiří Markovič, suspects it is dealing with a sexual deviant. However, no one knows at the time that this is just the beginning of the story of the investigation into one of the most notorious Czechoslovak murderers, who made history with his deranged behaviour and extraordinary cruelty. Not even Markovič himself, known for his sense of humour and human behaviour towards even the worst murderers. The Czech true-crime reconstructs the investigations of the elite police officers of the time, and thus comes up with a local contribution to an extremely popular genre. It introduces us to the subject of psychological profiling of serial killers and offers an unusual insight into Czechoslovakia in the 1980s. (Serial Killer)

englanti An unbelievable thing happened. I watched a Czech series with a criminal theme, which not only did not disappoint me, but I really enjoyed it (it was unusual but not unbelievable), but what really surprised me was that behind this experience is Nova. A few more surprises like this and I might start to believe in the immaculate conception of the greatest carpenter. But that probably won't happen, I assume that such achievements at our commercial television stations happen once, maybe twice in ten years. The original material was processed very decently, the cast was great (especially the duo Uhlík / Lněnička) and I really enjoyed it. / Lesson: Show me the contents of your fridge and I will tell you who or what you are. 4*+ ()
