Chicago Cab

An independent film that is both well-crafted and superbly acted, CHICAGO CAB sports an all-star cast and a script that breathes new life into the day-in-the-life-of flick. Paul Dillon stars as a Chicago cabbie who works a 14-hour shift on the longest day of the year; he transports a bizarre and eclectic collection of customers and experiences an emotional and existential transformation along the way. The eccentrics who enter his cab include a couple engaged in a very personal argument, a rape victim whom the cabbie longs to help, a pregnant woman, and many others. Also known as HELLCAB, the film has many star cameos that include Julianne Moore (SAFE, THE HOURS), John Cusack (HIGH FIDELITY, BEING JOHN MALKOVICH), Laurie Metcalf (ROSEANNE), and Gillian Anderson (THE X-FILES).
