This socially critical Chinese film skilfully combines elements of social drama, horror and black humour. After school, schoolgirl Wang Wuwu would like to drink soda just like her classmates. But her father, an unsuccessful crab seller, cannot afford to make her dream come true. When the girl finally gets her soda after an unsettling anabasis, she can’t even feel joy. (Anifilm)
