Brook by Brook, an intimate portrait

Simon Brook films a beautiful portrait of her father, Peter Brook. Theater is the central theme of this film, and the director’s life. First, with scenes of his rehearsals, accompanied by extracts of some shows. We then hear his own words as he remembers key moments in his career: His entrance to the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1962, the creation of the International Theater Research Center, and his presence in the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord of Paris in 1974.
