Even Rowan Atkinson is capable of portraying a gallant detective with the peculiarity of Hercule Poirot. This is actually good because the viewer will be surprised. And even though the story is told in the typical, unoffending way, it was pretty nice to watch. I am interested to see more installments.

Maigret och hans mord (2016) (S01E02)
The second installment of Maigret is probably the same as the first installment quality-wise. It doesn’t offer anything original but rather attempts an honest adaptation of one of the cases and the only captivating thing is the character of Maigret played by Rowan Atkinson. But it is a shame that they probably adjusted the dubbing a lot because according to the reviews Iʼve read here, the English made a bit of fun of Czechs and Slovaks. And I waited for the whole movie and nothing came, with all references apparently being replaced by those to Russians.
