The end of a long upmarket renovation of the legendary Chelsea Hotel is partly longed for and partly dreaded by the artists who still live there. The film grants us access to their apartments and interweaves the past with the present. (Mongrel Media)

"We are born originals and we die copies" - That is certainly an interesting thought. Unfortunately, however, the rest of the documentary didn't appeal to me much. Apparently, I am not artistic enough to be able to understand the strange poetics. (45%)
