Based on a personal reflection with clear influences from classics of the genre, such as Canciones para después de una guerra or Morir en Madrid, the documentary focuses on the story of the 4000 Spanish children who arrived in Southampton to escape the horrors of the war. With Guernica as one of the main settings, the story is told without concessions in this documentary where even the animation will have its share of protagonism with the intention of uncover and remember facts with certain similarities to the current context, to avoid falling into mistakes that would mean that the childhood of all these children has been lost in vain.
