As if time had stood still, a family makes hay in the French High Alps. The mountains here are over 3,000 metres high and the work of the dairy farmers is not much different than it was 100 years ago in the meadows. Machines are virtually unused here. The back-breaking work can only be done as a team, as a family or with volunteers, whose reward is the magnificent view and the smell of the freshly mown mountain pastures. (Ekofilm)
