Manufacturing War (E03)

Industry focuses on Baťa´s factories in the pre-war period and goes deep into the topic. Aside from the background statistics, it also touches on the role of workers and women's emancipation. The third part of the documentary series summarizes the broad and often elaborate topic into a compact length supplemented by fascinating insights. In fact, it does not deal just with Tomáš Baťa and his successful company, but rather with the specific environment that allowed him to climb to the top of the shoemaking industry.
