The bumbling misadventures of Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney) go global when Ernest inadvertently steals a pair of precious African diamonds and fastens them to a yo-yo to make a gift for a waitress (Linda Kash) he has a crush on. Little does he know that his actions have stoked the ire of an African prince (Robert Whitehead) who's now plotting to kidnap Ernest's sweetheart and drag her back with him across the Atlantic. I wonder if it was fun to at least shoot and if the actors enjoyed it. Because the viewer definitely won't enjoy watching it, and it's comedic suffering. Jim Varney has already given up on anything original; he just dresses up and basically makes one or two faces, even though his face is rubbery. Unfortunately, there is nothing funny here.
