TE:20 captures scientific work in both the detail and extent of its social context. The feat is not small. Defend knowledge’s value and set the standards of collegiality in science and education. Will one summer suffice? The film’s name antagonizes the minimalist pastime of playing the shooting game Counter Strike and offers a solution in the form of a highschool T-expedition hosted by the National Pedagogical Institute. The young filmmakers’ documentary is a record of this unique research stay. Self-reflexive narration breaks up the formal austerity of talking heads, and the film’s humour meets the viewer half-way.
